Pannonhalma Archabbey is the oldest monastery in Hungary. It houses 40 benedictine monks, 340 pupils in its famous secondary school and 30 old persons in its home for elderly people. This guide presents the historical buildings and the life of those who live there: prayer and work of the monks, their pastoral and cultural activity, the school and the enterprises: winery, brewery, Viator restaurant, herb garden and Fragrance Museum.
