Tourist shelter and forest school venue 8 kms from Pannonhalma
After refurbishing and extending the former parsonage in Táp, the Benedictine Forest School in Táp was opened in 2013. The inn, with a huge garden as well as indoor and outdoor community spaces, is ideal for conferences, class trips, spiritual exercises, camps for children or even for larger family events.

We particularly recommend this accommodation for groups open to active recreation. The area is rich in sporting and hiking opportunities. Several sports activities are possible in the huge grassy garden of the tourist hostel, but there is a football pitch and a horse riding facility in the neighbourhood too. You can reach the Pannonhalma Archabbey on foot in 1.5 hours.

Opening hours
Every day of the year except between 23rd December and 2nd January and from Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday.
Booking conditions
We accept bookings by e-mail or on the telephone.
We deem your booking to be final if we have confirmed it by e-mail and received the deposit on our account.
Please, transfer 50% of the value of your booking as a deposit to the bank account number given in the confirmation email!
Please contact us on one of the means provided if you have not received the confirmation email within 2 working days.

Cancellation
We can accept cancellations in writing, via email under the following terms and conditions:
- In case of cancellation 30 days or more prior to the date of the booking, we shall not charge a penalty.
- In case of cancellation occuring 20 to 29 days prior to the date of the booking we charge a penalty of 30% of the deposit paid.
- In case of cancellation occuring 11 to 19 days prior to the date of the booking, we shall charge a penalty of 50% of the deposit.
- In case of cancellation occuring 4 to 10 days prior to the date of the booking, we shall charge a penalty of 70% of the deposit.
- In case of cancellation occuring 3 days or fewer prior to the date of the booking, we shall charge a penalty of 100% of the deposit
- If the number of guests actually arriving is no less than 90% of the total number booked in advance, we shall not charge a penalty.
- In case of differences that exceed 10%, we shall charge a penalty.
